What we do

Diets or exercise programmes on their own can only tackle the symptoms of the problem – excess weight.  However, behind the longed for physical changes are often issues which need to be addressed, in order to both achieve a healthy weight and level of fitness, and, more importantly, to maintain that desired state.

AllChange helps you understand the causes which gave rise to your need to change, in order for you to achieve lasting improvements. AllChange helps you achieve your goals through one-to-one coaching.

Weight management coaching and related nutrition, fitness and image services takes place via telephone and internet, or in person, as appropriate, at times which suit the client. One client describes the service as like “having a virtual weight loss expert and motivational buddy on hand at the times that you most need it”.

At AllChange, we believe that a co-ordinated multipronged approach to healthy weight loss and, more importantly, optimal weight maintenance, is needed, specially if clients are to succeed in the face of current dire statistics:
* More than half the adults in the UK are heavier than recommended. About 2 in 5 adults are overweight, and about a further 1 in 5 are obese. The number of obese people in the UK is rising, particularly among young adults. Since 1980, the number of obese adults in the UK has nearly tripled. This has been called the ‘obesity epidemic’.

According to health professionals’ website, Patient UK Dr Lopez-Jimenez said: “I believe that the UK’s obesity problem is significantly worse than we thought…Our research has proved that one out of every five subjects with normal BMI has excess body fat and that these people are at risk from metabolic abnormalities that lead to diabetes and, eventually, to heart disease…It is currently reported that 66 per cent of UK adults are either overweight or obese but, based on our research, it is more likely to be at least 75 per cent.”
